Manual clutch switch instead of fuel pump cutoff switch?
I was thinking of putting in a fuel pump cutoff switch for my FD but then I don't really like the thought of putting a switch between the pump and power. So what if I just make the clutch switch a manual switch? Anyone done this before? Does the car need the clutch switch to sense anything (shifting? I don't think so but u never know) other than during start?
Edit: oh right, this is meant for security purposes in case anyone got confused by my terrible post.

I had a manual clutch switch in my previous car(turbo mr2) and it worked great, no one could figure out how to start the car. I had it tied to the flash highs switch on the turn signal stalk.
Make sure you wire it with the clutch switch and not replacing it, so you have to hold the switch and still press in the clutch
