manual boost controller install quest?

so im just about ready to install a mbc and did some research and came across rob robinette's page. the way he descibed it totally confuses the hell out of me. his looks all home made and some stuff about a turbo prespool valve. is all that neccesary on the twins? if someone could give me info on putting it in that would be awesom.

basically just take the lines with the pills in off run a silicone hose or something comperable in their place with the mbc in each line. I just went to a hardware store got two water shutoff valves, one for the boost and prespool, with threaded ends and screwed some barbed splines on the end with teflon tape with the lines plugged in and that's all she wrote

The manual boost controller valve (for the wastegate) on that site works very nicely. It is easy to adjust, and is easy to install. Do not install the prespool valve!!!! It makes adjustment very difficult. The wastegate valve will be all you need. DO NOT INSTALL THE PRESPOOL VALVE!!!!!
