Looking around the forums and all I see is people talking about the electronic ones. Anyone know any good mbc and place to buy one?

yep, try a home made ball and spring type. mines cost me 15 bucks to make at hd or lowes and it works fine (i have full straight exhuast, intercooler, intake, all metal piping for intercooler pipes and a stock ecu and still retain a 10-8-10 psi boost curve). a turn of the screw for me makes my boost relibly go up or down 1/2 a psi

just start off with it in the full open position and very very slowly turn the boost up. do multipul runs to redline in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear (not only is it safer to go slowly, its lots of fun even at low boost )

Turbosmart ( http://www.turbosmart.com.au/ ) they make some really good products. Myself and several others I know have been running their MBC's for a while and they are work like a champ.

Yeah that was gonna be "and they are money" which should have been changed to "and they work like a champ". I guess i just left a random word laying around.

Isn't that the problem with all mbc?

pretty much...But if you are just wanting to set it, leave it alone they are great. I did the Home Depot one and it worked great...then I tried to install both the boost control and prespool control and then it just got too complicated for me But yeah....they do work great.

Is the homedepot hard to install or make? I don't want to screw up anything.

Nah it shouldn't be hard, it's not very complicated.
