Mandrel Bent Oil filler Neck Install
Just my $0.02 here. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but required more effort than I cared to put into it this AM (after 12.25 hr.s of night shift) I'm very happy with the quality of the part and it came with every thing needed for the install, How ever I did use the original mounting bolts as they had a large flange for a more even and larger surface area than the cap head bolts that came with the kit. I had to loosen and move the alternator wire towards the front of the car to make sure it didn't touch the oil line fitting (straight brass one on the top) and double checked all the wiring to make sure it didn't push it up against anything that would cause a rub, no issues there (this is the alternator area I'm referring to) The only thing that I see as a possible issue is the number one coil (closest to the front of the car) the wire where it goes into the coil is against the oil fill tube (deffinately won't fall out) but leaves me a little concered with the possibility of grounding out with age) this would never happen with the plastic oil fill tube. I had fairly new Taylor wires so I installed them just to make sure it would be ok. I was able to install it with just the removal or relocation of the elbow, cruise control cable, throttle cable, and move the TB to the side without unhooking the AWS, or TPS. Only took me a couple hr.s including test drive. I'll check for oil leaks later when I get up to go to work. Don't know if this post is worth the bandwidth but thought I'd share.

When I did mine I didnt touch the alternator wire. But ill check it out.
I had a problem with the buttom leading coil wire. It has to come out inorder to reach the filler bolt and mine was stuck due to corrosion. Ripped the wire and had fun tring to clean out the corrosion and getting the stuck part out.
