Okay this sucks. My car started doing this thing. It usually happens when it's cold outside but it does do it sometimes when it's warm out as welll. I'll take off say from a stop sign and everything is fine. Then right about 2500 - 3000 the car just wants to stop going. There is a major hesitation even if I put the gas on more the car will not rev up any higher. Then all of a sudden it snaps out of it and it revs up and all my power is back again. I seems to happen more when I shift from 1st to 2nd but it still does from 2nd to 3rd and even 3rd to 4th. Usually when I take off from a stand still the car seems like it just wants to die on me. I tach will raise up and drop as if I pushed the clutch pedal in. I've heard of a bad grounding problem which causes some hesitation usually around the 3000 rpm area but this seem much more extreme. If anyone can take a stab at what is wrong that would be great. The car is going in the shop on Tuesday the 27th. Thanks a million guys and hopefully you guys can make sense of what I wrote.
