major power lost..

Hi, I notice that my car has lost a lot of its power. What is wrong with it? Why does my POWER FC boost shows -(negative) 354mm/hg when engine is started and stays negative when I'm boosting? The engine has been rebuilt and now it has 20k miles on it. I changed my fuel filter, new spark plugs, and new o2 sensors. I haven't done a vacuum hose job yet(maybe that's the reason), and I also might think that my turbo is going bad because my car puffs out white smokes for several minutes when you first start it in the cold. My turbos have 105k miles on it and it hasn't been rebuilt yet. Oh yeah and my RPM also fluctuates. Can you guys please help me on this?
thanks,
thien phan

compression check, if that turns out good have the turbos checked.. also still got a stock cat on that thing? If so either get a midpipe, resonated midpipe, or a hi-flow cat.

I have heard that white smike on cold starts means you could possibly have a coolant seal failing. But I wouldn't jump to that being your problem with boost. I get good boost and my engine is about gone. Just check all couplers from the turbo's to the engine and all the vacuum lines.

How bad are the RPM fluctuations? It sounds like you might have a vacuum leak.

I smoke a bit every time I start up, but its got a bluish tint to it, and my turbos seems to be eating oil regularly now, so they may be the cause behind that.

My RPM fluctuates a lot....My car has been running like this for awhile already...It's been more than a year...I didn't really care much cuz I hardly drive it plus I'm saving up for this summer so I can do a lot of mods to my engine...I'm just hoping that it's not bad compression or O ring failure...
thanks,

this is almost certainly a boost problem. do you hear a hissing noise when the car should be boosting. If so you need to get a vacuum job if you plan to boost again. or you could do what i did when i started getting boost problems, upgrade to single. Of course that costed me around 10k so far to do it right.

that's what I'm planning to do...I'm planning to go single turbo by this coming summer or maybe BNR stage 3...But I haven't decided yet..I'm also really concern about passing smog in CA..It's a pain in the ***...Yeah, there seems like a hissing sound...Hopefully it's just a vacuum leak...
thanks,
