MAJOR issues NEED HELP!!!

Aright i may get flamed for this but im at a loss for what i need to do here.

first of all, my car was rebuilt after a major accident back in December.

since the rebuild ive had a major coolant issue where my coolant light will come on and the temps will rise. After maybe a minute, the light will go out and then temps will drop back into the normal operating range. I THINK its air pockets but it only happens at low speed.

Second, theres an oil line that leads to this unit bolted to the compression tube leading to the throttle body. i have NO idea what it is, but its leaking oil under heavy pressure and i have no idea what the line actually is. Soooo if someone can tell me what it is, id be helpful.

Third, lately, my car has bogged down heavily when i leave from a stop. Ill let off the clutch and hit the accelerator and itll die down and usually stall out. I have no idea what it is, someone suggested it could be the vacuum lines which are completely shot at this point. But im at a loss for what it could be. and no its not me sucking at driving stick so shut up :P xD

so if anyone can help me out, lemme know.

Very likely that there are air pockets in the coolant system. Make sure you properly fill and burp it.

Your first and easiest assumption would be a vacuum leak. Take some carb cleaner and spray it around key vacuum lines in your engine bay while the vehicle is running. If you hear the idle change at all(momentarily), you've discovered your leak.

thanks MAD, do you know if i can eliminate the overfill tank?

I was just doing an inspection of the car and theres a decent sized leak coming from the overfill tank so im pretty sure its sucking in air when its recycling the coolant through the system. Like itll cycle out coolant and then it leaks out and when it goes to draw coolant back its drawing in air and leaving air pockets.

as for the vacuum leak, about a week ago i was doing some work under the pipe leading off the Y pipe and found two lines unplugged. i replaced the lines with new line but the old lines are rock hard and pretty much dead, so what are the chances that it blew a line off somewhere down in the rats nest?

The plan is on monday to pull the UIM and replace all the old vacuum lines.

You can eliminate the AST if you have an FC filler neck cap, but I don't know about the overfill tank... I would imagine you can't... Just buy a new one, I saw one sell on here for $60 shipped within the week.

Are you boosting normal?

i dont have a boost gauge on the car yet unfortunetly...

my buddy had one he was gonna sell me but he cant find it so imma have to buy an aftermarket unit soon

it felt unusual before the i replaced those two lines and then she pulled like hell like she should have. But lately its feeling like the secondary isnt spooling again. She still pulls hard past 4500 but i dont hear the secondary spooling anymore.

also my revs dropped like 300 rpm when i switch on the fans using the switch wired into the car. so that MAY have something to do with it all.

my buddy said he eliminated his overfill tank on his single turbo FD but ill prolly just buy a new one

also i wanted to ask, theres a line that goes to the back of the compression tube that seems to connect to the UIM/LIM. But i noticed that the GReddy hardpipes dont have that, how do i eliminate that from the UIM?
