Angry major coolant leak

I was moving out of my apartment today and when I came out to the car the coolant was draining out of the car like mad crazy. I got her towed to my new place and was looking at it but I am still on the learning curve of the fd so if anyone has any ideas please help. I believe it is the AST Tank. The plastic piece of crap so if thats what it is I will just get one of the metal ones and is that a mod that I can do myself or should I have a pro do it for me.

You can easily install an ast yourself.

If it is the AST then no worries, you are lucky it busted while the car was sitting and not on the road. An aftermarket one is about $140 and only takes 30 min to install if you're slow. Remove the battery first when doing it btw, helps a lot.

I would also recomend checking all the radiator hoses and the radiator itself. You may want to do a pressure test to check if there is a leak and where its coming from. Hopefully, like nathan said, its just the AST. In that case just get an aftermarket one, install it, and top the coolant off.
