Main wiring help at the ECU.

Merry Christmas to all of you and have a safe and wonderful Holiday with your family. With that out of the way, for those of you who are still on the forum......

My car is all put together now and I am finally wiring my main (new)harness to my ECU. Looking at the wiring, there seems to be too many connector in the kick panel including the new harness...

I'm not sure if the new harness had any upgrades or eliminated anything? When I pulled my motor, I disconnected the ECU and the ground wire and pulled the harness with it.

All the yellow connectors goes to the ECU right? The sub harness is what came with my car, I don't know it this will still be used or not? The sub harness has a black/fan control connector and so does my new connector? As you can see, I have no need for two fan connectors.

How about the white 16? pin connector at the main harness? It's too short to go anywhere, is this for the auto trans?

I did the search and did not come up with anything.

The car started, but it's running really rough and might have some vacuum leaks. And none of my gauges is working that the moment.

All the yellow connectors goes to the ECU right? CORRECT

The sub harness is what came with my car, I don't know it this will still be used or not? The sub harness has a black/fan control connector and so does my new connector? NEW HARNESSES HAS THIS INCORPORATED.

As you can see, I have no need for two fan connectors.

How about the white 16? THE WHITE ONE IS X-07 CONNECTOR - IT PLUGS INTO THE DASH HARNESS UP HIGH ON THE FIREWALL.

pin connector at the main harness? It's too short to go anywhere, is this for the auto trans? LOOKS LIKE A MANUAL WITH 16 WIRES IN IT.

So, the X-07 = the short connector that's attached to the main harness, and it goes up high on the firewall.

Thank you for my gift/answer Santa
