main cat hose from air pump

Since I've a bonez hi-flow cat the stock hose attached to it for the air pump is too short for the bonez unit, so I need a new one. Would you recommend replacing this hose for a silicone one??

I would recommend using some automotive Heater Hose.

RX7.com had provided me with the replacement hoses to use with the Bonez cat when I purchased mine.

I had also used some high temp silicon hose as a temporary measure. It seemed to do OK but did melt slightly. Might want to try the heater hose.
