how can you tell if it is
and could some one post smoe pic's of the inside of one
i need to know if they sent me the right thing or not

 

I ahve never opened mine yet...but when I sent out my original ECU it was just a plain silver box....when it came back it had little japanese symbols stamped on it....I dunno, weird huh?

 

if you open it up one of the boards which previously had just a chip on it got the chip soldered out and another little board added with the new ROMs etc. i haven't opened mine up but from the pics i've seen they they put a little sticker on the board too saying who it's from (M2, Pettit, etc.)
