Question M2 or RB Exhaust?

Any pros and cons to either would be appreciated. I'm looking for a good exhaust system for my '93. I want something not too loud?

I am also getting an M2 downpipe. Still deciding on which high flow cat... I have some gauges (boost, h20 temp, a/f) on order as well as an AST. Oh yeah, a fluidyne rad. too.

I'll soon order the miata temp sensor and/or make the fan mod.

God I love this car.

I guess you just got the car eh? I was in the same dilemma about the exhaust question a couple of months ago. Check out this thread. It should give you what you are looking for. https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...ht=racing+beat

i wound up getting the RB. They seem to be evenly matched. The only real way to tell is to try and check out a local meet so you can see them on the car and hear them.

I am currently using the RB duals. I bought the car with them installed already. I kind of want something a little louder. Compared to most of my friends with various exhausts on their FD's mine is by far the quietest. The RB duals are a little louder than stock, but at WOT it screams.

RB - quiet and flows well. I also have the M2 dp, and have the Bonez hi-flow cat.

I have a Bonez downpipe, Bonez high-flow cat, and RB dual-tip cat back - a noticable power gain over stock. All these have a terrfic build quality as well.

And I wouldn't want it any louder.

I have a RB and I really like it. Its subtle, retains the stock twin pipe look, but it will really roar when you get up in the rpms, especially with a mid-pipe. You can read about my feelings on M2 here

If you want a quiet exhaust that performs well, the M2 or RB will be perfect. Both fit well, and are high quality products. You can't go wrong with either.

When you are ready to do the intake, check out this thread:
