im running the stage 3 ecu with only intake, dp, and catback.
I ran the M2 Stage 3 ECU with an intake, dp, and cb for a couple months too. It'll do it's job.
Add a high-flow cat or intercooler, or both, and you're all set. It's tuned conservatively so it does run rich. The high-flow cat and/or intercooler should help you safely lean it out.

Even with aftermarket IC it still runs pig rich. This problem does not really show in increased fuel consumption but serious hesitation up top and noticable power drop-off above 6k RPM.
This is with my mods (missing only a high flowing catback).
