M2 AST BYPASS KIT vs ALUMINUM AST QUESTION?????????????????????

Im pretty much requesting feedback and experience with this issue.
Questions is pretty simple what are the advantages and disadvantages of removing the AST using the Bypass Kit from M2 performance versus upgrading the AST to an aluminum one.
Im pretty sure if MAZDA designed this device for a reason, now having it or not having it, its my question. will there be advantages or problems. Please help.
Thanks.
Saul

purchasing an aluminum ast has no disadvantages other than the cost and it's not like they are SUPER expensive. however the elimination kit has been debated ever since it was developed. I haven't seen any hard evidence pointing either way.
