At those power levels even an upgraded diff could break. Not to mention the diff housing...axles...etc.

If you aren't doing drag launches, the stock diff seems to hold up fine for most people. I would guess that 500RWHP wouldn't necessarily kill it unless you are doing drag launches. Then again, I guess anyone with 500RWHP is probably looking to drag, so an upgrade might be required.

I've heard great things about it, dealing with the beating it can take but the only down side i would see is the extra noise thst goes along with clutch type LSD. Thats why i'll be looking for something different.

Thanks

The kaaz LSD is a good investment. The chattering cOOlduke is talking about is the downside but can be fixed with a LSD additive located at any ford/gm dealer.

the Kazz is awsome. i put it in after breaking the stock POS. The noise is hardly noticable. If your that picky you shouldn't have an FD. It only chatters at low speed parking lot type turns(driveway etc..)The 1.5 is plenty for street driving, the 2.0 will cause a bit of push in wet conditions espeacially. a good lsd oil and additive as RX-racer stated will help the noise and chatter. It will probably be the last Diff. you buy!!(you'll just break other things!!! LOL!!) good luck and have fun driving in figure 8's for 30 mins.!!
