Wow, over the years this insane fascination has developed where everyone seems to be completely obsessed with bashing what others have planned for their cars, or just randomly bashing cars they see on the street. I am truly embarassed for the automotive community everytime I see a post where someone has gone out of their way to photograph, video tape, or document someone elses car purely for the use of posting it on the internet in an attempt to ridcule them.

Personally I don't see how you could get any personal gratification from taking the time to type this up, simply to try and make these people look bad. Honestly after reading through some of the posts on their livejournal the only one looking bad is you (bob), and I think you should be ashamed of yourself for taking something that was probably a very exciting experience for these people, and tainting it, even if only a little. From the sounds of it they have some very tasteful modifications ahead of them, I see nothing wrong with their purchase price or their plans for the car, why buy something if you can't enjoy it? part of enjoying it is making it your own .
