Low Idle in gear?
Hi Everybody:
I have a 93 Auto. I've been searching all over the forum with somebody that has had similar problem like me, but I can't seem to find it (maybe i'm not using the right keywords or something...but anyways). I'm having some low idle problems when I have the car in "D" with the brakes pressed in (headlights not on). When I have the lights on the car idles fine (750), but without it, it idles below 600...it dips like it's gonna stall, but always comes back (below 600). When I have the car in Park...the idle is between 1000 - 1100. I've had the oil changed, oil filter replaced, fuel filter changed, spark plugs replaced, and replaced the pre-cat to a downpipe and it still idles low. Anything else that I should look at?

Just sounds like your idle is set too low. Idle should be 750 with no load, and 800-900 with lights or AC on.
There's an idle adjustment screw under the throttle body - read up on idle adjustments and give that a crack.
