Low Idle But Not With A/c
i remember this topic comming up a long time ago, but i couldn't seem to type the right thing in the search.
anyways, my car idles low, it goes from 350 to like nothing then back again over and over,
then i put on the a/c and it goes to like 700 or 800 nice and easy
whats hte problem!!

Mine is similar... Or was... I think the reason for the idle jumping up when you turn on the AC is because of the electrical load balancer? **** I dunno... Its some circuit or something that pumps up the idle when a load is placed on the car... Anyway... I just tightened my throttle cable (was a little slack in it...) till the idle ran good under no load. It for some reason DID NOT make the idle go that much more when a load is placed on the car... Weird, but it worked.
