Loud blowing sound when boosting causing horrible boost pattern???

when my car builds boost, i hear a loud blowing sound coming from underneath the hood. i have checked all of my connections but i found nothing. i get 10 in first but after that it gets around 5-8. could it be a bad BOV of ACV?

i think you are on the right track. BOV, ACV, Large diameter hose couplers, intercooler piping. etc.

Well the boost pattern doesn't match this problem but it still might be worth a shot.

The rubber coupler from the y-pipe to the crossover pipe splits right where the coupler meets the y-pipe. Hard to see with the coupler on the car.

Y-pipe coupler should be checked first. Take it off and bend it around looking for cracks. If it's loud "whoosh" it's most likely that.
