lost wire

i was standing about 30 feet from my car today..... and i saw a lose wire with a connector at the end haning at the bottom of the car........ i picked it up from the inside of the hood, but i cant find where it goes........ its on the sparkplug side of the engine and all the way at the bottom, does anyone have a clue on where this wire goes to?

Look near the bottom of the motor on the spark plug side while you're underneath the car. You'll probably see a sensor sticking out of the motor with a burnt wire.. Don't know what that sensor' called but it's worth a look.

Check the oil level senser on the lower side of the oil pan , . drivers side. it is a single wire and if disconnected it can hang low
