looking for a rx7

So i'm deciding on buying a car and i've always wanted a RX-7, did alotof research on what to look for before buying, parts I should change after getting it etc etc

question is, where do I start looking? I've tried ebay motors and looking around on the web, but nothing close to the bay area. (i know my profiel says singapore but i practically live in SF now because of school and my family is pretty much moving there)

anyone got any good ideas to look for 2nd hand cars? also, I've never seen anything past '94, even though the FD was up to 2002 right <<<<<<<<< ok realized why, the later models werent sold in the US..

thanks in advance

You may have to travel to find one. However, I would start looking in the classified section here on the forum:

https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-rx-7-1993-2002-vehicles-107/

At least that way you can search for the owner's name to see what kind of problems he reported on the forum.

www.autotrader.com

That way you can look in SF, but can expand your search as far as you're willing to go, and also see if quality goes up....

'93-'95 is all they ever sold in the US... Beleive it or not they cited lack of demand for discontinuation.

i looked for 8 months to find my fd and by the end of my search i decided to expand my search to 1000miles and just suck it up and go get it. i got lucky and found it on cars.com they seem to have cars that arent listed anywhere else like autotrader, ebay, or here bc they source their ads from newspapers too.

www.washingtonpost.com is good, it has newspaper ads and i believe internet ads from all over. Works great.
