Looking for R2 shocks + swaybar, where to look?
What's the best place to get a set of R2 shocks and the R2 swaybar from 94? I have looked at www.thepartstrader.com but almost no one does suspension swapping there. Are there any other places to look? Do any stores have used ones in stock they would sell me? Alternately, are they reasonably priced new?

I would try to find the sway bar at a bone yard, and the shocks I've heard are bilstiens...I only heard this second hand though
USED MAZDA PARTS
www.mazmart.com
www.mazdarecycling.com
www.kerodgersmazda.com
Or call many import yards...good luck!

Hey Alex! Whats up man? Why you looking for that ****? Anyways the sway bars and springs are the same for all models. The shocks are the only differance. The shocks are all Bilsteins but the R1 shocks are dampened a little more agressive. You can either get some prices from Bilstein or from Mazda. Buying used is always a gamble. I can probably get them new for about 200 bucks direct from Bilstein. If you want me to check let me know. I will call them this week from work.

Actually the front shocks on an FD are different from year to year and from the R1 to the other models. The back are the same in 94/95 (different in 93). The front swaybar is the same for all years and the back different in 93 (I referencing a collision book). If you are interested in new, I can get the parts for you at a discount from the Mazda dealer list.

Try shox.com, they were a ton cheaper than any other retailer. I bought my Tokicos and Eibachs there last spring. Saved almost 30% over any other place. And being cheap, I checked everywhere.
