Yeah, at the July BBQ that Roy does. I had the stock red R2 in the middle of the lot (kind of across from yours and to your right).

I remember your car cause of the crazy doors and kit, but I don't know if we talked at all.

Mine just came in today - super fast shipping from Ray!

Man, new parts are just magical . I have it holding down the front of my desk at work - can't wait to get home and get this sucker installed!

Finally ordered mine today to be delivered by Friday. He's still got some in stock.
They're back-ordered from Japan until mid-Feb when several dozen more are expected in.

Got mine installed yesterday - WOW what a difference! I imagine it would have cleaned up well if I had tried to restore it, but you just can't beat that deal .

Yeah, I'm in a T-shirt and jeans today .

Install wasn't too bad. Getting the tabs that pop into the bumper to pop in was kinda tricky, though. All the rest was a cinch.

hmmm, might have to pick one up from Ray. Just ordered a bunch of OEM parts from him and got a good deal. As well as a new engine from Japan since he was out of remans at the time (oh well gives me an excuse to pay a little more for a new engine instead of reman ) He is a great guy, very busy though, get his answering machine a lot.

Not to beat a dead horse, but the pic Dale posted is PERFECT, it shows the subtle differences I was talking about...and I realized I had a pic of my old R2 front bumper w/ lip, so here they are for comparison.

Here's Dale's:

And here's mine:

I know there's a shadow in the area I'm talking about, but if you look closely (despite the shadow), you'll see that the oil cooler duct area on my R2 lip doesn't protrude down and out as much as the one in Dale's pic. Also, see how Dale's lip protrudes forward more from in front of the side ducts, and in the center region, while mine is more rounded throughout. It just doesn't protrude forward as such. I dunno if anyone sees these subtle differences that I'm talking about, but I'm pretty sure I see it...unless I just WANT to see it

The pic definitely isn't the best, but we have 2" of snow on the ground right now, so I'm not about to go outside just to take another pic of it. You guys are prob right, but I just wanna make sure, cuz I could swear they're diff...

If you really think they are different and really want to prove it, why don't you just have Dale ship you his old one and you can compare? They are really light, shipping could not be that expensive.
