Looking for a motor

Does anyone know of a site that sells either 13b's or 20b motors custom built... I tried looking at pieapple racing but all of theres require a core... anyhow I'm building up a fd from scratch and want a custom built motor to put in it, I just need some reliable places.. I havn't checked racing beat or atkins yet... about to. Thanks in advance... I just checked rx7store also but more sites would be helpfull!

Pettit makes good motors, as does RP.

here is another option, my business partner Steve can port and build a mean motor:

hmm interesting... but it seems like you also need a core motor... which I can get ahold of not really wanting to though... but heres the deal I just want a 13b with 3mm apex seals and large streetports... I may however go the route of a used 20b with large streetports I dunno. I'm just trying to work out a timeline budget of my build up ... I havn't searched yet but has anyone tried building a renesis low cr turbo motor and dropped it into a fd?

Have you actually tried calling these places and speaking to a human being? It's good odds that Pettit or another one of the "big guys" has enough good spare parts around that you wouldn't need a core motor. If not, just buy a Mazda reman and have a shop open it up for 3mm seals and to make sure the reman is in proper spec.
