I'm swaping my Greddy 2-row FMIC for a 3-row... or selling it. I have it since twins and then went to single with an SS crappy turbo (10-15 psi), upgrade it with a T3/62-1 dynoed 430 whp @ 23 psi and now with a T4/T-72 (.81 a/r) dyoned 475 whp @ 20 psi...now boosting up to 28 psi (no dyno yet) and the IC still there so i think I might need a 3-row and desesperately looking for the 3-row to just bolt-on... the point is the 2-row is good enough for a 400-500 set-up (never seen AIT's over 40-45ºC crusing and over 55-60ºC WOT...no hood ventilation neither coated parts) and is in perfect working condition, i'm including the piping with a 50mm Tial BOV flange on it. If Interested post here or PM//

thx!

I like the setup's on the apexi and the blitz fmic. They sit behind the bumper support adn not sit flush with the opening in the bumper so it isnt "blocking" that much airflow to the rad. The rad will still have some kind of airflow to it. The greddy just sits there blocking everything. I know the apexi and blitz kits are more expensive but worth the money.

btw: i have apexi fmic

I have the HKS kit that relocates the radiator to an uprite position and a vented hood and my engine temp went down drastically (daily driven)

Always liked the V mount style kit.

Does anyone know if the "standard sized" uprated intercoolers from Greddy or Mazdaspeed make any real difference or is it still down to just getting air to keep it efficient.

I'm the one that purchased the PFS from Nuvolari.

Here is my take. It does get heat soaked when sitting in traffic. In bumper to bumper traffic I see as high 45 deg C intake temps. Once I actually get going the temps drop rather quickly.

After many back to back WOT runs, the intake temps settle at around 35 deg c with ambient air being 65 deg F. So yes it does get hot but I really like my airflow going straight to the radiator.

For my purposes: which is occasional spirited driving, this IC is perfect for me. If I were to road race, V-mount would be the way to go.
