Looking at getting an FD

Hey yall, im looking at getting a 93 FD for 10k. I was wondering if this would be a smart investment. So I would like to hear your opinions, pros and cons, and what not of the FD. How difficult is the rotary to work on, I personally dont know much about these motors but i think it would be fun to learn. Im pretty much just looking for a street and track beast. Any info would be much appreciated, thanks.

Please read the FAQ thread before asking general questions....that's why it is there. Outside of freak transactions, you are not going to find a decent FD for anywhere near $10k....and then you have expensive and frequent maintenance.

If you don't know much about the rotary engine then read, read, read, and please read. You'll have to learn vital things before jumping right into a FD, espically one for 10k (as it's probably going to need some work). Just like all these kind gentlemen above me said, start with FAQ, then come back.

FYI, from a financial aspect almost every single car with 4 wheels is NOT an investment(other than some rare antiques).

They're actually really shitty investments

Yeah, the best way to learn is having one but that's taking it the hard way. Make sure you know what your looking at and do crap loads of research. 10K sounds like a good deal if it's in good condition. If you see any major things wrong with the motor, just forget and keep looking.
