Looking at getting an FD
Hey yall, im looking at getting a 93 FD for 10k. I was wondering if this would be a smart investment. So I would like to hear your opinions, pros and cons, and what not of the FD. How difficult is the rotary to work on, I personally dont know much about these motors but i think it would be fun to learn. Im pretty much just looking for a street and track beast. Any info would be much appreciated, thanks.

Hey I know im a noob, and I really dont mind. How else is better to learn than askin guys who actually know about them.

read this, https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/faq-3rd-gen-other-useful-links-68640/, then ask questions
|
read faq and post pics if u want peoples opinions.....

Please read the FAQ thread before asking general questions....that's why it is there. Outside of freak transactions, you are not going to find a decent FD for anywhere near $10k....and then you have expensive and frequent maintenance.

They're actually really shitty investments |
like they said ...read read read...i looked up $#!t for almost 2-3years....you need to know what your getting into....
good luck brad |
Yeah, the best way to learn is having one but that's taking it the hard way. Make sure you know what your looking at and do crap loads of research. 10K sounds like a good deal if it's in good condition. If you see any major things wrong with the motor, just forget and keep looking.

lmao... somehow I knew exactly what this thread would say, even before I opened it.
