Um, its a good thing I didnt go back for more pictures, most of the mentioned stuff applied to this car.

I'm going to offer 4k for it. I'm going to get laughed at, but I'm going to laugh harder.

Oooh my god! Perfect! Did you actually order your car through this site and, if so, how good was the experience?!

No the car was already imported, saw it, checked it, falled in love with it and then buyed it.

The price was a real deal. Everything was perfect and still are.

Look for something you can afford and will be able to afford later on. Unless you want to do a swap on this one ( btw we want pics of the car and the milage ) dont buy it. Im sure if you search further you will find a nice fd for 10-15k

good call on the 4k offer. That is going to need some serious work and money thrown at it to get it back to a decent state. However if you have the time and will, you could bring it back to life, tho it may be cheaper to just purchase another FD for 12k-15k and call it a day.

This deal is officially dead. Thanks for all the guidance. Saved me a world of headaches.

Currently debating on an imported FD or a Silv 240SX. Both around 9k.

You guys are awesome and have enjoyed my time here on the forums. Hope to see you guys soon if I get the FD!

EDIT: I still have the key for the trashed FD. Gotta return it to the owner. Ill get some pics for the lol's when I do so.

You're going to be paying out the *** for customs for an imported car and to get it legalized. Just find one in good condition. Remember, you get what you pay for.

Don't attempt to import an FD. It's not legal, which means doing it is a PITA and even once it's here with (fraudulent) papers it's a major risk.

I'm assuming he's from Canada, not the US (since he mentioned how much the car was in both US and canadian dollars). They can import at 15 years I believe.

In about 4 years you will probably start seeing a lot of RHD RX7's in the US also, as we have a 21 year importation law that allows it.
