Well, my bro is looking to get an FD too so we found a pretty good deal locally. The car has 64k on a rebuild, but its been sitting for about three months the guy says. We try to start it and notta. I figured it's prolly flooded so I pulled the EGI and did that whole thing. Then I pulled a plug to make sure and it was pretty wet w/ fuel, but with it out, I decided to check the compression while I was at it. The rear was very strong, the front was strong, but not quite as strong.


Here's the thing, when I went to check the comp. on the front, there was some kind of smoke coming out of the back spark plug hole. I smelled it and it was sweet, so it's coolant. Is there anything that this could be besides a blown coolant ring? We almost got it started, but I ran out of time playing with it. I think that if I did the ATF trick, I could probably get it to start.
