Question long distance

i heard that it isn't a good idea to drive an rx-7 for a long distance at a time is it true? what would happen to the engine?

I drove my '95 FD from Miami to Seattle (over 4000 miles) ran like a champ. Gave it 3 oil changes along the way.

If your confident your car is in good mechanical shape to begin with I dont think there is any problem with it.

I'll be driving my FD from Mississippi to Pennsylvania (about 2000 mile round trip) in about 2 months. Its running great now... hopefully everything holds up.
