Little Bose issue...
Alrighty,
when I throw the balance all the way to the passenger side, it isn't very loud. But when I put it all the way to the drivers, it is VERY loud. then when I balance them out, there is still much more sound coming from the drivers than the passengers...and while they are balanced, there is much more sound from the drivers side rear bose than the passengers side rear bose speaker...
The previous owner had removed the center dash speaker in favor of the center gauge pod. Does this mean he removed the center amp as well? Any idea why the passenger side front and rear speakers are much noticeably weaker than the drivers?

The front door speakers have their own amps. It is possible the amp has gone bad on the passenger's side.
I got tired of dealing with the Bose system and ripped everything out. Then I installed a Kenwood head unit, upgraded the 2 door speakers by modifying their Bose enclosure, and I also bought speakers and brackets in place of the rear pockets. New wiring needed to be run for the rears. It cost about $500 to do.

Base, R1/R2 and PEP models all came with rear speakers(where the Touring has map pockets). You should be able to just directly swap the parts out of another RX-7 and put them in to your touring and wire it up...
