Summer time I am daily driving my RX7, winter time I catch the bus to school, and if I need to drive anywhere I borrow my Dad's IS300.

Beater

I drive the 7 daily in the warm months. I drive a white 1988 Chevrolet Caprice Classic as the winter unit. No hub caps, going for the cop look. 177K miles on the original motor and tranny and still runs like a champ.

1992 Mazda Miata

I'm surprised almost no FD guys have Miatas. If you live in a place with good weather, don't need to haul a lot of stuff around and are confident in your masculinity you can't have more fun on the street than with a Miata. I'd sell my FD first.

Beater.... Anything made in the USA (common domesitic) or that has a 1950's piece reciprocating of "technology" that has 8 cylinders configured in a V pattern that would be more suited for a boat anchor.

I seriously thought about buying a $2500 Miata as a DD. But it was not practical to buy yet another car with NO cargo space and not be able to get me to Tahoe for the Snowboarding season. As luck would have it, my GF bought a 2004 G35 AWD and sold me her old 91 Integra w/ 92k miles for $2500. She has never had a problem with and probably never drove faster than 75 mph:

Crappy Nokia phone cam pic with my new 17" Enkies that I bought off Craigslist w/ tires for $312.00 for the set!

after having it for about 2 months now and no problems, yesterday it had its first. i was on I-95 North and i lost half my exhaust. from the cat back there is nothing. DAMN now i actually have to put some money into it. im gonna leave the whole piece that broke off in my car until i get pulled over for not having a muffler on there so i can tell the cop that it just broke off a hour ago, then ill get it fixed
