LIM gasket job update

Well, its been over a month since I started the job, and I finally got everything off, the LIM off, and scraped the old shitty broken gasket off. Still have a vacuum job to do, and I need to replace the FPD. I have three main questions. First, which lines are the boost pills in? My car is a 94, dont know if that makes any difference. Are they the bigger ones attached to the turbos? Second, where is the FPD? I know its on the fuel rail, how do I get that off? And third, is there ANYTHING else I should worry about while I'm in here, and during reassembly? I already have to buy a fuel recall kit and a plastic turbo intake elbow from Malloy, damn little nipple broke off while removing it, might as well pick up whatever else while I'm at it. Thanks for your constant help everyone, hopefully my car will be up and running in a few weeks.

The FPD is on the input end of the primary fuel rail. You unscrew the screws with a screwdriver.

The boost pills are in the big hoses going to the wastegate actuator.

You might want to have the injectors cleaned while you're in there. Also might want to think about porting the wastegate while the turbos are off. Also, all coolant hoses (turbo, tb, ast)

Redo your vacuum hoses with silicone, change out all of your check valves with McCarr-Master check valves, and replace all of your coolant hoses.

Does anyone have a pic of the fuel rail? Maybe there's a harness cable blocking them, but I can't seem to find the screws that undo it. Found the FPD and everything, but dont know how to get it off. And I'm doing the hose job, and I bought DaleClark's check valves

Great writeup, thanks for the link. There was one interesting thing though, my turbo actuator lines did not have any pills in them upon removal. My car is a 94, would this make any difference? It was boosting correctly before, so I just replaced them with 6mm silicone, no pills.

Some 94+ turbos have restrictors built into the nipples on the compressor. That is probably the case for you.
