Can anyone point me in the direction of fuses, relays etc to check regarding this kind of issue?

 

check the 'retra' relay. it is blue and reads KA32. you can switch it with the one for the interior lights to check.

 

Like Anti stated...check out the relay box located by the batter in the engine compartment...it's one row of fuses...like 6 fuses in a row. There should be one labeled "Retract" or something of the sort....sounds like yours blew. I blew mine a few weeks ago when i accidentally shorted some cables. Costs about $5 bucks at your local auto store if that's the problem.

 

ok, so I replaced the relay because yes it was blown, but now when I turn my lights on only the left light flips up and then wount go down again when I turn it off, the right light still wont go up and down at all but boh headlights still go?

 

Ever fix your one light not going up and down? My passenger light just stopped working
