Left turn signal constantly on

So it seems like i messed up the wiring for my turn signals. The left blinker stays on constantly. turning the blinker switch does nothing, weather it be L off or R... the hazards work. i found the relay. and i tapped the G/W wire which looks like its correct (one leading out the firewall and one coming from the gauge cluster area. other than that it looks good. i dont recall messing with that so im not sure what to check for?

to me, it seems like the blinker switch is getting bypass right to power to the left blinker and skips the switch (hence why it does nothing)... would that be correct?

im not really good with wiring or really understand how it works so if anyone can help that would be a huge help

ugh, found the problem. turns out my turn signal is broken so the "tabs" that flick the switch dont turn on/off the switch. if i flick the switch with my fingers it works perfect...

That's shitty. Damn these old brittle plastics. I'm sure you're creative enough to work something out
