just as the title says the left out side door handle doesent work. its pulling the metal rod but for some reason it doesent open from the out side. the key hole seems to be working just fine. i took the whole assembly off and took a look at it but everything seems fine.

another question where can i find the plastic piece that surrounds the door handle on the inside? can i just go to a mazda dealer and get it or is there anywhere online where i can find it?

any input/help will be greatly appreciated.
