That is the older style RB Catback back when it was made by RS*R of Japan. Now they have a new manufacturer and the style has changed slightly. I liked the old one better, oh well.

Hus,

Your struts look like Koni Yellows than Tokico 5 ways. 5 ways - Illuminas are white.

Just wanted to make sure.

I vote for the old school system too. I heard the RB muffler was lighter than stock. Anybody know the weight for each?

Phil, you are exactly right! That's my own stupid, rookie, newbie mistake...MISTAKE #1: Believing what someone tells you face to face is on the vehicle you're buying without checking it out yourself. Mistake #2: Taking pictures of a part of your car and not looking to even check if the item is what you're telling everybody it is because you're too ignorant to look for yourself. Anyway, they are Koni.

Thanks Phil, I guess I need to change my sig now.

LOL! I think Koni's are much better than Illumina's... even though I have them.

Your car is super clean!! Love it!

Ah, it's about time you took those pictures. I thought that you were going to take some more "down by the river" I love stockish FDs I have a pic request: try to get a better shot of the rear wheel gap and perhaps a shot of the rear quarter (you took one, but I'd like to see one that shows the car at less of angle... IOW walk around the car about 20 degrees clockwise from where you were at in the pic you took)... hope that makes sense. Keep it clean BTW what wheels are you getting? Tires? Sizes? I'm full of questions

Phil, Well I'll be honest: I don't know a whole lot about suspension (I am learning) but I looked up the price of the Tokicos vs. the Koni's and one website had the Tokicos for $240/pair and the Koni's for $330/pair. So I would hope the Koni's are a little better for that kinda price difference.

I'll see if I can't get those pics for ya...but I think it's gonna rain here tomorrow. Right now I'm thinking of going with 17 inch ASA AR1s in Silver finish, but anything could happen to make me change my mind. I might find a wheel tomorrow that I like better. Tires and size I'm still deciding on. I'll take suggestions on tire size to be run with 17 inch wheels with a 1 inch lowering job on a FD.

/\ Narc Unit...our policy states that we're to be schedule 9am to 5pm because they have to schedule us for something, but as all Narc Units we're 24/7. So, I assure you that the other day when I left at 4:30pm, I was back out around 1am. That's just the way it goes.

Thanks for your comments

hus-

I have 17's and the Eibach lowering springs. Here's my sizes:

17 x 8.5 front with 235/45/17
17 x 10 back with 275/40/17

No rolling the fenders and it looks real nice. The guy from tirerack said those sizes would not affect the speedo too much because the overall OD of the tire is similar to stock. I can post a pic if you want.

Also - up above I wasn't trying to bust *****, I was making an observation that your mods 'looked' different than mine.

Hey, I was just kidding. I did 4 years there and understand. You make up for those days when you get paged out at 0300 AM to wait in the cold for some skurvy, runny nose, hep C +, amateur tatooed, scab ridden CI..... who ends up being 2 hours late because he pawned the only watch he ever stole two years earlier for some smoke. Ahhhh, the glamore. Just like Don Johnson.

Exactly, stupid CIs that you finally have to call because you haven't heard from them in two weeks and the first damn thing they say is, "I thought you were going to call me!" Well, am I the one facing a probation vioaltion if I don't follow through with my agreement to help myself out? NO! Bunch of idiots! Then the sorry piece of crap calls at 1am about a shipment that never showed up! Anyway, I'm off my sopabox.

Sorry that might have sounded like I was being a smartass with the whole "I assure you" thing, but I wasn't. I was just referring to the fact that I had to get up out of bed in the middle of the night, ya know how it is.

Here's the pics huf. I really don't have any good ones right now that focus on the wheel / wheelwell detail. Also I don't want to hijack your thread because I made a thread of these pics a couple weeks ago. Anyway - you asked so I'll deliver:

Hey hus,

I am looking at new tires on stock rims. How do you like those Potenza's? I was going to go 245 45 on 16" stock rims.
