Large Puff of Smoke from Exhaust???

Hey guys,

I pushed my car a bit yesterday. I accelerated from 80 to 120mph. I might of been at WOT, but I don't think so.

Anyway...I looked in my rearview and saw a relatively large cloud of grey smoke coming from my car. Then some started to come from my engine bay. It went away pretty quickly. I came home and shut down. I started it later and everything seemed fine. Think I did anything bad? I figured that all the smoke was just the rich fuel/air mixture and the smoke from the engine bay was seeping between the manifold and downpipe. My car sounded and felt fine when I was boosting.

My mods are: intake, mp, dp, cat-back, and Pettit ECU.

It's probably just the OMP dumping oil to cool the engine. Nothing to worry about. You did cool down the turbos right? Let it run for a min or two before you shut the car off after a hard run.

It also could be your turbos buring oil.

Thanks guys. I drove it lightly for about ten minutes and then let it cool for about two minutes. I know that my turbos are shooting a little oil. I think the seals are going/gone. They'll be bad within a year. I'll either go single just get ported ones. I think I was only boosting 12, maybe 13 psi. I've never hit the limit. I've never felt the need to.

I shoud add, that there was a 300ZX tailgating me and a new riced out Eclipse pacing me, so I figured that I would do a little "flexing".

Thanks a lot.
