ive seen the mod done on a few rx7's anyone have any idea where I can get that done, or at least get the hinges and how much?

 

there are only two ways to do this:

1. ship the car to Mr. Amemiya himself and he will do the entire conversion for about $8,000.

or...

2. find a reall really really good body shop known for doing work on show winning cars, and have them do it. it will cost about the same, im assuming.

 

There was a shop somewhere in Florida that quoted someone about $3500 per door...
