Question Koyo street series

Does anyone have experience with the Koyo Type-S radiators? Part number PA060644.

It seems like the Koyo R1443 is the most popular in America with the 53mm core. This is the one that is most popular with RX7Club vendors. Actually I can't find anything but R1443 when I search American vendors. But in Japan most of what I find is the Type-S with a smaller 32mm core.

They want nearly $1,000 for the Type-Z and always include this graphic:

So I thought the Type-Z was the same as the R1443, but they have different part numbers. The Type-Z part number is KL060644R and it says it has "2 row construction". So then I thought R1443 is the Type-R series but if I search for that all I get is Type-S for Type-R RX7.

I am so utterly confused right now. Thanks Koyo for ruining my brain.

Most of the Koyo rads here in the US are the 53mm variety with the exception of the N flow. Koyo also makes OEM type replacement rads so not sure what options you have.

The 53mm all aluminum rad is pretty popular in the US partially due to price but expect to need to get clever to make it fit correctly. Search on that topic. The Flyuidyne and Mazdacomp fit better (particularly on cars running a SMIC) and are a little thinner. All are proven to perform well.
