Red face Koyo radiator for my JDM 94 FD3S

Hi guys need some help here... I blew the rad on my car and wanted to replace it with a Koyo R1443N which is the newer N-Flow design. Anyways came across this seller on ebay and wanted your opinion on the seller. Seems like a good guy and he answered my question:

"Dear 24ibuy,

Just to make sure this is an original KOYO R1443N
for Mazda RX-7 FD3S 1992 onwards? "

"Yes, it is the original KOYO R1443N for Mazda RX7 FD3S 93-95 N-FLO.

Best Regards,
24ibuy.com "

So should I go for it or no?

Also just to make sure... Is there any difference between JDM and USDM radiator fitment?
I think there isn't but thought I'd ask before I go and buy it.

Thanks all for your help it's very much appreciated.

Henri

Hello, I don't have the answer of your question (even though I don't see why it'd be different) but in British Columbia (Canada) there are a lot of JDM FDs, I am sure if you ask on www.bcrotary.com you'll get an answer.

Good luck.

Pricing would probably be helpful for people to give you opinions....you have to weigh the savings from ebay vs going with a reputable dealer.

From what I remember of my radiator install last year, Koyo's are thicker and does require some tinkering for them to fit. Searching would help here.

Good luck!

They're the same, and if it's under 300 bucks or so, I'd buy it.

I probably got lucky, but my Koyo fit without any real modifications to the radiator brackets or oil cooler lines.

Ultimately you have given us nothing to work with. You are essentially asking if you are going to get screwed over by this seller. How could we possibly know this? What is his reputation with eBay? What is his feedback? If the price is in the normal range, I would say you (and only you) can make the decision to buy.
If on the other hand it is much cheaper than normal, one would or should ask "Why?".

And let's face it....if the guy is scamming you and others....he is NOT going to admit this, lol! What were you expecting him to say, "Oh gosh...you got me. Yeah...this is actually a universal-fit Chinese knock-off...."?

Ok guys now I'm left with 2 options;

https://www.good-win-racing.com - which seem professional

and

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...#ht_983wt_1150

The ebay guy is $20 cheaper and includes quicker shipping...

Another place to try is Absolute radiator I got my Koyo N flow from them (they list it as the triple pass radiator), their price is pretty good & they say they'll price match.

Also, the pictures of the radiator on the other two websites are not of the koyo for the FD, they are just generic photos.

Thanks but they don't ship out of the US...

Think I'll be going with these guys: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=350182260332

Anyone had any experience with them (FRSPORT.com)?

Again thanks for your help guys.

Went with Goodwin Racing. https://www.good-win-racing.com

Brian Goodwin is a nice chap and helped me through the whole process of buying the rad. He even matched the price advertised on frsport.com

I'll let you guys know how it goes once I receive it.

Thanks to everyone for your help.
