koyo radiator install issues with Greddy FMIC

Hi there,

I'm installing a Greddy 2row FMIC with a Koyo radiator. I've got the ac condenser and radiator in place, however the upper bracket for the radiator which came from the Greddy kit won't line up with the Koyo radiator, possibly becuase the radiator is too thick. How are you guys mounting the upper radiator bracket for Koyo with Greddy FMIC.

Thanks,

Randy

I just went through the same stuff and wound up making a lot of my own brackets to make it all fit. My kit was semi incomplete, so it forced me too. The best advice I can give you is put all the pipes in and then check you clearance to make the brackets. I actually moved the radiator more toward the driver's side to allow more room for the pipes to flow through.

x...

I hammered the stock radiator upper bracket flat, that made it work, the radiator is secure now. However i'm running into 2 new problems.

1. The fan plug wiring is too short, it won't reach, I guess i'll have to extend the wiring.

2. The mini battery kit I bought form Rotary Extreme will not clear the upper koyo radiator bracket, I'm not sure what to do here... Relocate? Try to make it work?

I am running the exact same setup and had absolutely no fitment issues at all, everything went right into place, including all of the brackets. Strange..

what did you guys do with the Greddy supplied metal water tubes? Are they suppose to go all the way into the rubber coolant hose to preven it from collapsing? The instructions were not clear.

I trashed the water pipes and bought flexible radiator hose from Autozone.
