Which fmic allows you to keep it in the stock position? I have read all the threads so I won't go into Greddy vs Apex vs Blitz.. but I would LOVE to know more details about how each actually fits, and how and what needs to me modified for each. I know this is getting off topic, but I am just going with the flow here.

Some of you guys are pissers!

Im fairly new to this whole thing so I enjoy reading up on DIY future mods. What some of you have to remember is not everyone works on cars all of the time but many of us want to learn. I dont think theres anythng wrong w/ that, right? For 15 yrs Ive been a mc buff so I know a LIL about bikes the fun thing about these specialty groups(like many mc groups) is the whole comradery thing. Sharing a passion for the same vehicle. So lighten up guys and be patient, Im sure some of you were at our places not too long ago!

One thing I must say, many of these threads that carry on have NO technical detail for the most part, IMO, thats what causes repetitive questions. If this Forum wld make a DIY Tech folder w/ each popular mod having its OWN thread I think it wld cut down on the repetitiveness 3fold!

Fitment issues can equate to cutting more than a bumper trim. For all we know it can be a frame rail that needs modifying. Not everyone has the necessary tools for certain tasks so its always nice to be able to come online and ASK a question or two.

Is there ANYONE out there who has installed a KOYO themselves and can give us a detailed hint of what we may be getting ourselves into? Preferably installed in its stock location as Im not seeking to get a FMIC anytime soon or at all probably a M2 med. SMIC if anythng.

OK,

I fitted a koyo myself in/on the stock location, no problems with that great fitment. Only 2 things that I noticed:
1)I have to make the brackets myself for stock or vertical position.

2)is that most probably I cant get any piping for the intercooler past it, no 70mm that is. Therefore Im thinking of running the intercooler piping down below or make 2 smaller pipes past the radiator and then go back to 70mm, depends on when I have my engine in to see how much space I have.

Can make pics this weekend most probably. When my engine goes back in.
