If the knock sensor is bad, you can not feel a symptom, just it will not retard the timing when your engine detonates -you can blow your engine- anyway the stock knock sensor is not good in a modified rex.

I don´t know about the crank angle sensor, but I think that it controls a part of the timing control, maybe you feel your engine like shaking?

Do a ECU test, is your check engine light -on the cockpit- on?

good luck!

I'm having the same problem after I did the vacuum hose job. My car is hesitating under load and I'm getting almost no boost. I am getting a knock sensor code but I don't even know where to start. Where do I check?

Hey Mazda fam., where have you been? It seems like I haven't seen you or heard from you since Nopi. Everything ok? I just got back from Korea yesterday. If there's a meet this Thursday maybe I'll see you there.
