knock sensor alternatives?

does anyone know of any other alternatives for the knock sensor like a bosch. i bought a link RX and cant find a knock block. i need to make something or find a way to read safe and unsafe levels of knock. anyone have any ideas?

J&S Knock Sensor is a good choice.

...the problem is, with a lot of these - by the time you know about it, it's too late.

You should probably just invest in a good wideband A/F gauge... Like the Innovate LC-1... Oh, wait, here's one for sale!

Safe and unsafe knock levels are for the most part subjective assessments unless you can hear the thing rattling audibly without any sound amplification. When you buy a J&S or any other system, you are just leaving that subjective assessment to the guy who developed that product.
