Looks like upgraded stock twins with a bigger compressor wheel, bored out compressor housing, and a thicker shaft for the turbine wheel. The biggest problem with upgrading the compressor is the shaft is relatively thin - put a big wheel on it, and you snap the shaft.

It would be about $2500-2700 US, approx. Dunno if they need your turbo and they upgrade it, or that's a built and upgraded set.

It's probably quite similar to a lot of the stuff BNR Supercars has done. Are they still around and working on upgrading stock twins?

What dcfc3s is true about the description of the turbo's. I have a set if you are interested - they only sell the replacement parts ie Compressor housing, compressor blades, compressor backing, shaft - some misc stuff like polished return lines and fittings - for the most part and you have to use your existing set of turbines and take it to a turbo building shop for assembly and to dbl check the clearances etc. I am selling mine because I changed turbo's. One of mine are blown though, so you will have to have someone rebuild one. If you are interested I'll let them go for a good price. PM me if you would like to get them - they are said to be good wih other mods to push 400 hp @ 1 bar. That was a quote from Takeshi Nakazato @ Knightsports JP. Thanks.

Hi people,

Knightsports do sell turbo assy as well. They also do rebuild job using the VSR tester, green thing in the pic, or they can sell you just the parts. And, they now have uprated twin turbo assy that uses larger dia turbine shaft for durability, and larger housing.

I myself am very much interested in the uprated twin unit, but it is spendy. When my turbo goes dead, I may think about getting one.
