Is the Knightsports EBS IV kit supposed to include solenoids?
Is the Knightsports EBS IV kit supposed to include solenoids?
Hi, I'm a bit confused and wondering if someone can help.
I have the chance to pick one of these boost controllers up for a good price however the pic of the kit doesn't seem to show any solenoids. The silver box/controller is wrapped in a plastic bag so it's hard to see. It's in Japan and as my Japanese is nil, I don't have the chance to ask questions.
I've searched the forum and found threads linking to the old Knightsports website where pics of the kit don't show any solenoids and other threads asking for advice with pics that do show solenoids.
Adding to my confusion is a thread I've also found on here where someone kindly translated the Japanese instructions which state directions for which solenoid port is which!
Dave Clark's site seems to be permanently down so I can't get any info from there.
Can anyone who has this (or the EBS III) kit tell me whether solenoids are supposed to be a part of the complete kit or whether they're optional?
Thanks in advance,
Dean
