KG parts secondary rail and bosch 1600 install ?.
im in the middle of installing some bosch 1600cc inj. and a kg parts rail. i got them used and it came with the stock grommit on the bottom with an o-ring right below it. how do i install these into the LIM? i saw some spacers that cj motorsports had, are those needed?
They are made to be a tight press fit into the lower intake manifold. More than likely the person selling you the kit could not remove them without damaging them. If they were damaged when removing, they probably didnt include them. you can buy them for $16 shipped for a new set. http://kgparts.com/index.php?page=diy

I got mine from keith at KG-parts. I'd be a little skeptical if they claim to be removeable, the tolerances are supposed to be EXTREMELY tight, being able to remove them means they aren't... and could potentially leak... I dunno, just doesn't seem like that particular part lends itself to being removed very well (without damage at least)...

I have an FC with the KG secondary rail, I use an 89-92 s5 pintle cap and lower injector grommet (remove o-ring and other crap that came factory on the bottom of the Bosch injectors).
http://www.mazdatrix.com/c-6.htm
84-92 lower grommet (I'm not 100% positive you need this on an FD, I used it on my FC) and 89-92 pintle cap. The pintle cap slides right over the Bosch injector for a tight fit with no vacuum leak. Also, if you need to replace the upper o-rings (because you are a dumbass like me and messed one up when installing the injector) you can use o-rings from early 2000's F-150 injectors, available at any parts store.

from rx7.com store (scroll down a bit):
"Improved for 2005: We’ve made it even easier to install 1600cc injectors. Bosch type injectors are o-ringed on the bottom and unless you have that type receptacle, the injectors take a bit of fitment to make them work. We’ve added a pintle cap to easily convert the injectors to the Mazda and Japanese style install. Either way you need them, we have you covered."

The aluminum bushing KG parts sells makes the below modification pointless.

This is the way the CJ-Motorsports spacers were designed. Mainly just to offer a different product, and not copy what is already available.

^^ It's just another option. Those pintle caps are $2 each (so $4 + maybe $6 shipping if you do Priority mail from USPS), spacers are listed as $16 for a pair, so $8 each plus shipping.
