My insert key light stays on with key, out and car off?

 

they stay on for about 30 seconds... if they stay on longer, check your doors to be sure they are shut tight...

 

mine sticks sometimes, and i have to tap the key hole for it to go off

 

Damn.. I think my key light lasted for about 3mths before it broke.. does anyone know how to fix it?

 

Take off the dood handle assembly, replace the bulb (get one at Radio Shack, 2 or 3 bucks.), I hope that wasn't too complicated

 

Do they all have it? I've taken my handle off and have NEVER seen it.

 

The door handle assembly? You mean the light in the door? What about the light for the ignition? Or the light where the ashtray is. How do you replace those? I've been dying to do that.

 

You have to take cover off the console and i think it comes right out with alittle twist that is for the ashtray. As for as the ignition i never looked at it but its probably similiar just gotta take it apart.
Now i got a question. I have 93 base model and i dont have a light around the door handle key whole. I guess not all them got it.
