Hey guys, just looking for a way to fix this thing. My car seems to act like the key is in the ignition all the time. The door chime goes off whenever the door is open regardless of whether the key is in the ignition or not. Is anyone able to shed some light on a fix for this? I drive an r1 FD, if that makes a difference. Also, this would have an effect on my alarm system turbo timer too, I'm assuming? My car alarm's turbo timer seems to work only when the door is left open. The engine shuts off when I close the door for some reason.

 

I had a similar issue where a sticking TNS relay caused my running lights to stay on which in turn would give me a constant beep with the door open and key out.

But, I would say there's a good chance that your issue is in the alarm and turbo timer wiring since it seems to be related to both your turbo timer and ignition.
